The professorship prepares future landscape architects for their central role in the necessary transformation process. Competence in leading social dialogues and in trans- and interdisciplinary collaboration are as important as knowledge of the technical and structural design of highly resilient, multifunctional urban open spaces. In addition, teaching in the field of green technologies should awaken the students' desire and courage to meet the great challenges of our time with innovative ideas for solutions and good designs.
