Research

Institute for Landscape Architecture

Research at the Institute of Landscape Architecture reflects the close interconnection between science and landscape architectural practice. Teaching and research, education and professional practice, are closely linked with one another. Thus, they allow the translation of theoretical concepts into spatial instructions for action on the one hand, and the analysis and interpretation of built space on the other. Research pertaining to historical figures and events can also clarify contemporary tasks.
