Field of work
Marion Merk has been researching and teaching in the field of landscape architecture and design since 2012. She focuses on the role that interventions can play in open space planning processes. She is particularly interested in temporary and participatory approaches that seek to involve all actors in civil society. Together with students, she develops and tests alternative design approaches in public spaces in 1:1 formats as a test field.
